Kevin Hart is not done roasting Mike Epps for making mockery of his comedy career on Instagram.
Recall that their recent drama started when Epps shared a photo of him and Eddie Murphy and a fan commented, saying, “Eddie Murphy funnier than Kevin Hart still.” To which Mike Epps responded with: “Everybody is.”
Kevin Hart jumped on the post to set the records straight: “It’s a shame that everybody isn’t selling a ticket like me tho.”
And this has stirred heated reactions on social media, with top acts like Nick Cannon calling out the black community for always tearing their own down. “Do we ever hear people beefing over if Ben Stiller is funnier than Will Farrell? Or is Jerry Steinfeld better than Louis C.K? Why do we tear down our kings? They are all great! As a people we have been programmed to highlight negativity. #Sad.”
Yesterday, a media house published the story and Mike Epps responded saying that it was not “press worthy.” But Kevin Hart was not having that, because he took to Instagram to address Mike, writing, “@eppsie All I can say is that your a sad individual. I talked to you several times face to face in attempts to put the B.S behind us. I even reached out to u like a man and tried to get to the bottom of your bitterness. When will you realize that my success has nothing to do with you or your journey.”
He added, “Unlike you I want to see you win…I’m actually a fan champ. I’m praying for the day that you will realize that so many of us entertainers have a crabs in a barrell mentallity. You are the biggest crab I know…I will continue to shine and continue to make history and continue to do comedy at the HIGHEST level. If that makes u sick then so be it….I will hand u a throw up bucket because this next year that I’m about to have will be my best Mr bitter…..While u worry about this Grown Little man please know and understand that all I am worried about is SUCCESS!!!! #CatchUp.”
