Yeezy Model, Shannade Clermont Denied Her Passport Amid Identity/Card Fraud Drama

Shannade Clermont, who was recently arrested for using a dead man’s debit card, has been denied her passport by the judge handling her case.

Recall that Kanye West’s Yeezy Season 6 model was arrested last week on a slew of charges, which include stealing the debit card of a man who had overdosed and using his identity to ring up thousands of dollars in purchases. The Clermont sister reportedly, in 2017, stole the debit card information “of a man she had visited for a prostitution date and who was found dead in his apartment the next morning from a drug overdose.”

The unnamed man died due to an overdose of cocaine and fentanyl.  Investigators collected his iPhone, and his text messages were recovered directly linking him to Shannade Clermont.

Shannade was later released on bail, and now The Blast reports that the model made had plans to travel to Atlanta before getting arrested and surrendering all her documents, and so she requested to have her passport back as she would be unable to fly without any ID. But the judge wasn’t having any of this.

She had intended to fly to the DMV and get an ID card made, but her bail conditions says she’s allowed to travel to Georgia, California and throughout New York. The Blast assumes that the judge denied her request because there’s chance that she could skip out of the country if given the passport.

We can’t wait to see how this pans out.
