Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has a lot to say to the ‘black race’, and she is screaming her message from the rooftops.
Recall that the actress recently concluded a 5-day event in celebration of her 40th birthday, and this included a symposium titled, “Mental Slavery And The Emancipation Of The Black Race”.
From the clip shared by Broadway TV about the event, the veteran actress admonished the black race, talked about the importance on focusing less on fashion and the baller life, why it is important for her listeners to quit being upset with folks like Daddy Freeze who has ruffled feathers with his campaign against tithing, and more.
“Stop getting angry with the Freezes of this world, they are not your problem. They are trying to help you,” she said, and added, “You need to wake up! You need to wake up, black people, because nobody is going to hand it over to you. We need to stop about the [obsession with] fashion… [because] at this point in our lives, fashion is not important.”
And she said more; she called out her fans who have a penchant for ‘insulting celebrities’ on social media, and more.
What do you think?
