The Nigerian man, Music is Terry, who captured the took a selfie with Nicki Minaj and Cardi B together has taken to his Instagram to tell how that historically moment was actualised.
Recall that both Nicki Minaj and Cardi B shocked the world when they were captured in photographs together at the Met Gala in New York. There had been a simmering cold beef between them which worsened after Nicki’s Beats 1 interview with Zane Lowe, in which she revealed how the Bodak Yellow rapper hurt her.
And so, last night, when the emcees attended the Met Gala, they calmed the hearts of their fans, letting them know that there is no bad blood between them. And the icing on the cake was the selfie taken by Terry, who has now explained how the moment happened.
“I was talking with Paris Jackson. I looked to my right and that’s Nicki Minaj. I looked half-way to my left, and that’s Cardi B. So I said to them that this moment right here is bigger than the Met Gala; in 20 years, this will be very important. I asked them if I can capture it… and we went viral,” he said.

I had a great time at the Met Gala 2018. Seeing the young queens, Nicki Minaj and Cardi B, connect made me feel good. Hiphop culture has so much influence on the world, and I believe giving big platforms to more than just 1 or 2 women in hiphop can only help shatter glass ceilings for the next generations of women in any industry. Hopefully we can see more of this. New Yoooork! 👑 #GOD #GOD1st #Jesus #Bible #Believe #NickiMinaj #CardiB #MetGala #MetGala2018
