Jamie Foxx is not ready to talk about his personal life, and definitely not to the nosy media.
According to E! News, the actor stormed off during a live broadcast on ESPN’s SportsCenter Friday afternoon, when he was asked about his partner, Katie Holmes. He had expected questions about the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game, and not about his private life.
“I know you prepared [for the game] because I saw pictures,” the anchor Michael Smith said to the actor. “Did you and Katie Holmes play basketball for Valentine’s Day? Like some real Love and Basketball?”
This got Jamie upset, because he took off his headphones and mic and walked off, just as the perplexed Michael Smith announced, “He ready to go. He ready to hoop,” before moving onto the next segment.
Jamie Foxx enjoys his privacy. He never speaks about the mothers of his children Corrine Foxx and Annalise Bishop, and insistently has refused to speak about Katie Holmes since the rumours about their relationship surfaced.
He is not here for all the media drama and stalking, which is why he is making it clear to media houses: ask him about his relationships one more time, and see what you get.
