The Weeknd broke down in tears at Coachella on Friday during his headlining set.
From the videos making rounds on social media, the 28-year-old Canadian singer gave an emotional performance at the popular musical festival‘s first day of fun. He sang some of the hit songs from his new six-song EP My Dear Melancholy.
The most heartfelt moment was when he performed Call Out My Name and then Privilege, and it was during that moment that fans watching the show from YouTube noticed he was crying.
Many people have assumed that the songs were inspired by his break up with ex Selena Gomez, and when he cried while performing them, folks wondered if he still misses the American singer.
