“The Lion King” trailer made its debut on Thanksgiving and it raked in a whopping 224.6 million views in 24 hours, making it their second most-viewed trailer debut from any studio.
THR reports that it comes second in the history of trailer debuts, after the trailer for Avengers: Infinity War which attracted 238 million views.

The film, produced by Walt Disney Pictures and helmed by Iron Man director Jon Favreau, is a photorealistic, computer-animated movie featuring high-profile acts, including Donald Glover as Simba, Beyoncé as Nala, and James Earl Jones reprising his role as Mufasa.
The trailer shows the moment when Rafiki presents a young Simba to the animals of the Pride Lands, with Simba being hoisted above the rock.
The film is scheduled to come out on July 19th, 2019.
