Teyana Taylor Responds To Azealia Banks’ Accusations That She Stole ‘Fade’ Choreography

Teyana Taylor has shut down the accusation that she stole the choreography of Fade video from a struggling choreographer.

Drama started after Azealia Banks shared the behind-the-scenes clip for her video for Anna Wintour  and a fan noted the similarities between the dance and Teyana’s performance in Kanye West’s Fade.

Azealia, who is embroiled in a beef with Cardi B, snapped at the commenter in her signature style, saying: “Lol you mean the choreography she stole from @bornready_matt and tried not to give him credit for until a lawyer got involved…”

The choreographer is Matthew Pasterisa.

Well, Teyana was not pleased with this obvious diss. She took to her SnapChat to clapback at Azealia, saying, “what stolen choreo?” And the caption of her post read, “@bornready_matt give ya friend some clarity with all her inaccurate information, so she can stop spewing out all of this false information.”

Billboard notes that much of the Fade video was choreographed by Jae Blaze, however, Pasteria did make some input in the moves, which were originally intended for use in a Beyonce video that didn’t happen.

Seeing the harm Azealia was doing, Matthew Pasteria wrote on his personal Instagram, noting that he was kept in the dark about the 2016 video, however all was now okay between him and Teyana Taylor.

“Honestly, I didn’t know any thing about “FADE”, I didn’t Get any calls about it and I didn’t Receive any pay …. (SHE DID GIVE ME SOME CREDIT),” he wrote. “I was truly hurt and Felt Stolen from …. I took it with a Grain of Salt and Continued to remain Humble.”

But Teyana was not done.

She returned to make a long post, setting the records straight about all that happened, and this was so that folks don’t buy into Azealia’s antics.
