Tekno Apologises for the Video of Semi-Nude Women Dancing in Transparent Truck

Tekno has taken to his Instagram to apologise for the video of the semi-nude women dancing in a transparent truck around Lekki Toll Gate last week.

The video stirred heated reactions, caused the state government to suspend the license of a company believed to be the owners of the truck. And now, in his Instagram post, Tekno said they were shooting a music video and there was shortage of vehicles when they had to move locations.

Bellanaija adds that the “action is said to be against the Criminal Law of Lagos, Section 136 2015 which states that any person who commits any act of gross indecency with another person in public commits an offence and liable to a conviction to three years imprisonment. And Section 134(a) of the same law states that any indecent act in a public place makes both parties engaging in the act liable to imprisonment for two years.”
