Singer JP Continues to Drag Wizkid for Allegedly Stealing His Beat

JP says this is not the first time Wizkid will be hopping on his beat.

Recall that the drama started after Wizkid shared a snippet of his upcoming collaborative single with hit-maker Teni, stirring excited reactions from fans all over the globe. Shortly after, JP got wind of it and to his shock, it allegedly was the same beat for the song he had paid Northboi to produce for him, a song he already made plans to drop.

Read all about that here.

Now, he has shared more evidence, revealing that this is not the first time Wizkid will be taking his beat. “For you all coming at me saying I want to steal our legend’s shine,, just to set the records straight, this is not the first time my big brother & mentor @wizkidayo is taking my song, check out this song I recorded with a producer sometime last year and @wizkidayo heard it and revoiced it and was about releasing it but my label @ubrecordsltd Privately addressed the issue,” he wrote.

And yea, I also Included a munched chat between producer @northboitheoracle & my boss “SD The GREAT” when he told me @wizkidayo will be jumping on my song “MACHALA”, it made me so excited and now you can imagine how i felt to hear that Wiz was gonna take the song as his own and put Teni on it without even reaching out to me & my team. @ubrecordsltd. #IstandWithJP🙏🏽 #UnlimitedBenjaminsRecords
