So Roseanne Barr has gotten a new TV deal.
The TV star told Rabbi Shmuley Boteach that she’s been offered quite a few new gigs since her show, Roseanne, got canceled because of her racist tweet targeted at former Barack Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett.
“I’ve already been offered so many things and I almost already accepted one really good offer to go back on TV and I might do it. But we’ll see,” she said on the podcast.
In case you missed how her travails started: not long after Roseanne sent and then deleted a series of racist tweets about former Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett(she compared Jarrett to an ape), top ABC canceled the reboot of her show, which was accompanied with a powerful statement from the president Channing Dungey.
Next, ABC announced a spin-off of the canceled reboot dubbed The Connors, which doesn’t feature Barr. She also has no financial or creative role in the new show. The spin-off is expected to air in fall 2018.
Last week, she went on Boteach’s podcast she shed crocodile tears, talking about how she was not racist. Now, she is bragging about getting good gigs since she got cancelled.
We can’t wait to see what they are cooking up for her.
