Reactions have been pouring in as suspected robbers broke into the residence of the parents of Leah Sharibu, the only student of Government Girls Secondary School, Dapchi, Yobe state, still in Boko Haram custody.
The ‘robbers’ reportedly invaded the parents’ residence late Monday and carted away the family’s belongings, including food stuff and a generator set.
It is understood that Leah’s mother had just returned from dropping her only son at school for resumption on Monday, only to discover the house has been burgled.
No one was confirmed to have been attacked during the incident.
Leah ordeal continues as all the girls in the Dapchi kidnap were subsequently released, while she was held back for “refusing to renounce her faith”.
Last month, she pleaded with President Muhammadu Buhari to secure her release from the jaws of Boko Haram Jihadists.
Meanwhile, the latest attack on her family has elicited reactions from Nigerians who call on government to bring succour to the family.
May Allah in His infinite mercies free Leah Sharibu from her captives. 🙏🙏🙏

I'm not one to jump on a bandwagon of anything but knowing that Leah Sharibu is still in Boko Haram custody is sad. What are our political and Christian leaders doing? We haven't heard zilch from the government. Goes to show that our leaders don't value life, just property

The fact that Leah Sharibu is still in captivity coupled with the lack of engagement with the citizenry on steps being taken to ensure her release by this government is enough reason to vote em out.

Leah Sharibu has been held by Boko Haram for over 200days. As if that's not enough humiliation, the conspirators still sent armed robbers to her parents. A clear signal to all the Christians in Yobe/Borno axis.
Remember, Leah is the only Christian among the 200+ Dapchi girls

We already know the truth about the failed @MBuhari and @OfficialAPCNg of their plans to use Leah Sharibu as a bait for 2019.
According to sources, she will be freed few weeks to presidential election.
Buhari is a scam

A responsible government should have relocated Leah Sharibu’s family by now from that vulnerable place to a more secured environment.

Tonight, I pray for Leah Sharibu. May the good Lord continue to protect her. May he give her the strength to persevere.
Most especially, may the good Lord bring her back home to reunite with her family.
Your country failed you Leah Sharibu, but God won't fail you.

My heart felt prayer goes to Leah Sharibu, that God will send His Angels to effect her release and bring devastation in the camp of the Boko Haram captors. My thought is also with her family.

Kindly resign. Majority of Nigerians are tired. If u love the country like you say you do, allow someone else choose. The will of the many outweighs your will. RESIGN SIR!! You need to rest. We need to grow. Killings need to stop. Leah Sharibu needs to return.
