Plies is a lucky man.
According to TMZ, the rapper’s felony charge was dropped after he completed a concealed weapons course and prosecutors confirmed that Plies had obtained a valid concealed firearms permit.
This comes nearly two months after the rapper whose real name is Algernod Lanier Washington was arrested at the Tampa International Airport after a gun was reportedly found in his carry-on bag. He was going through the security checkpoint at airside E when a Transportation Security Administration agent saw what looked like a firearm inside his bag as it went through the x-ray machine.
After he was released, he took to his social media to apologise to the troubles he caused, and now has completed a course and gotten the right firearm permit.
And fans are super happy for him.
