THR is reporting that Ralph Breaks the Internet and Creed II may be raking in the big buck as the Thanksgiving box office gets underway.
According to the media house, the Walt Disney Animation’s sequel Ralph Breaks the Internet could approach $85 million to $90 million for the Wednesday-Sunday corridor, including $3.8 million in Tuesday previews, according to early Wednesday returns. In terms of its Tuesday evening preview gross, it beat fellow Disney animated Thanksgiving offerings Coco ($2.3 million) and Moana ($2.6 million).
While Creed II is projected to make $59 million on its five-day debut, including $3.7 million in Tuesday previews. The sequel sees the return of stars Michael B. Jordan, Tessa Thompson and Sylvester Stallone, and is tracking for a Wednesday to Sunday debut of $44 million to $55 million.
