Yesterday, Quincy Jones shut down the internet with his Vulture interview, in which he spilled secrets about his dead friends, and one of them includes claims that comedian Richard Pryor and actor Marlon Brando once had a sexual relationship.
“[Brando] was the most charming motherf–ker you ever met,” Quincy Jones shared. “He’d f–k anything. Anything! He’d f–k a mailbox. James Baldwin. Richard Pryor. Marvin Gaye.”
That part of the interview stirred wild reactions, and some people wondered if the legendary artist was lying. However, Richard Pryor’s widow, Jennifer Lee, has confirmed that her late husband slept with Brando in the late 70s, saying that he kept diaries of the men he slept with, that he never hid his sexuality.
“It was the 70s!” she said, according to E! News. “Drugs were still good, especially quaaludes. If you did enough cocaine, you’d f–k a radiator and send it flowers in the morning.”
It is also worthy to note that Marlon Brando opened spoke about his sexuality in the 70s. He told People magazine in 1976, “I, too, have had homosexual experiences, and I am not ashamed. I have never paid much attention to what people think about me. But if there is someone who is convinced that Jack Nicholson and I are lovers, may they continue to do so. I find it amusing.”
Meanwhile, a source close to Ivanka Trump says that the Quincy Jones’ claims that he dated the daughter of the US president was a lie. Ivanka herself has yet to speak up.
