So, Quavo has finally dropped his solo album, Huncho, and the track everyone is talking about turns out to be Huncho Dreams (a play on Nicki’s Barbie Dreams) in which he talks about having a sexual relationship with Nicki.
It is worthy to note that Nicki’s track is a playful record about her longing for other male rappers. However in Quavo’s response, he noted Nicki interview where she talked about how he hurt her, and then he suggested that they were romantically linked.
Call up queen (Nicki)
The queen can’t flex on a young bull (Flex)
Made her scream (Scream)
Chanel, I bought her two of ’em
You can check IG (Hey, IG)
“Young bull” is a Philly phrase often used by Nicki’s former boyfriend Meek Mill. Quavo also appears to reference Nicki’s other ex Safaree, as he spits in the chorus: “I’m straight out the jungle (Hey), no safari (No).”
As if that was not enough, he further referenced Drake’s hit single In My Feelings, singing: “Nicki, Nicki, do you love me? (Please)/Why you crying? (Why?).”
So, was his response a play too? Folks are wondering, and here are some of the responses:

Y’all are some true idiots if you think huncho dreams was a diss…. but then again y’all also thought Barbie dreams was a diss. Dummies lololol 😂😂

If Barbie Dreams can be taken as good hip hop fun and not as Nicki talking about how she actually fucked every nigga that raps, why can’t y’all just treat Huncho Dreams the same?
More specifically misogynoir.
