A number of pro-Biafra supporters are presently staging a protest at the Pall Mall Street, Westminster, London, as President Muhammadu Buhari joins 52 other leaders for the 25th Commonwealth Heads of Government meeting.
The protesters are calling on the president to produce Nnamdi Kanu, erstwhile leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, who’s been missing since the army invaded his home in September during the Operation Python Dance II, TheCable writes.
IPOB has always maintained that Kanu was abducted by troops in the wake of the military operation that’s aw a number of separatists killed and several others whisked away.
The protest is occurring several blocks away from Buckingham Palace where Buhari is meeting other Commonwealth leaders.
