The Prince of Wales, Charles, has performed the laying of the wreath at the National Cemetery in the Nigerian capital, Abuja.
The ceremony which held on Thursday was in remembrance of the nation’s servicemen who died in the first and second World Wars.
Dignitaries in include the Minister of Defence, Brigadier General Mansur Dan-Ali, as well as the service chiefs and top military officers in the country.
Prince Charles has been busy since his arrival on Tuesday, partaking in numerous activities both in Abuja and Lagos as part of his three-day visit to Nigeria.
While in Lagos on Wednesday, the heir to the British throne was at the Naval Dock Yard in Victoria Island, where he was honoured by the Nigerian Navy.
Prince Charles also met with the business and art communities in Nigeria’s commercial capital.
