Police Nab 3 Over Gruesome Murder of DELSU Student

The Police in Delta State have arrested three people in connection with the murder of a female student of Delta State University, Elozino Joshualia Ogege.

The Delta State Commissioner of Police, Mr Muhammad Mustafa, said Friday that the command arrested two Yahoo boys and a security guard Ogege’s murder.

Elozino, 22, and 300 level student of Mass Communication was found dead in a bush at the outskirts of Abraka, Delta State, on November 18, 2018, after she was declared missing on the November 15.

The police boss told journalists in the state capital, Asaba, on Friday that the DELSU student was murdered by persons suspected to be ritual killers.

Mr Mustafa reiterated his command’s resolve to ensuring that all the persons connected to the crime were arrested and prosecuted accordingly.

“Some of the major suspects connected to the crime had been arrested and currently assisting the police with their investigation.”

He also asked the public to avail the command with credible information that would lead to the arrest of other accomplices that are still at large.
