Plateau Gov. Lalong Shocked over Aide’s Death in India

Governor Simon Bako Lalong of Plateau state has expressed deep sadness over the death of his Director of Press & Public Affairs, Emmanuel Samuel Nanle.

Nanle reportedly passed away Monday evening in an Indian hospital where he was receiving treatment for an undisclosed ailment.

Lalong in a condolence message issued and signed by Commissioner for Information and Communication, Yakubu Dati described the death as shocking, saying Nanle was a committed patriot who pursues his beliefs with uncommon zeal.

The governor said late Nanle wasn’t only a close ally but a pillar that worked consciously for the success of his administration.

He recalled that the deceased braved all odds in 2014 and tirelessly worked for the success of the APC in Plateau state in the 2015 general elections, adding that he would surely miss him especially at this time when his services are most needed.

The Governor said arrangements will be made to bring back the remains of the deceased home for a befitting burial.
