People Have Strong Reaction to Wendy Williams’ Decision to Take Hiatus After Graves’ Disease Diagnosis

Wendy Williams had an important announcement for her fans and foes: she will be taking a step back from her show, and this is because of a recent diagnosis of Graves’ disease.

The show host already suffers hyperthyroidism, and with Graves’ disease, which is an autoimmune disease that affects the thyroid, Wendy accepted to take a three-week break to focus on her health.

“My doctor has prescribed … are you ready? As of today, three weeks of vacation,” Williams told her audience during the show. “What? Who are you? I was pissed.”

She however feels she may “be back in two [weeks].”

“I’m not an heiress,” she said. “Who is going to pay my bills? Are you serious? I’m just saying, I come from working class.”

This comes four months after the show host collapsed during the Halloween taping of her show. The video went viral, caused her fans to worry, and, sadly, was also reduced to a meme.

Now, that she talked about her health issue and the plans to take a break, it got many people talking. And, sincerely, Wendy has stepped on many toes during the course of her career. Recently, she stirred outrage after she dismissed the the #MeToo and #Time’sUp movements, and also said Beyonce needs auto-tune.

Yes, you read that right.

And that’s not all; she had often blamed rape and sexual assault victims.

Now, with her health becoming a major topic, everyone is talking. And here’s what they are saying:
