Vice President Professor Yemi Osinbajo met with the Lagos State governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Saturday.
Also at the meeting was a former commissioner, Femi Hamzat, who stepped down for Mr Sanwo-Olu ahead of the party’s eagerly anticipated primary Sunday.
The Vice President also met with some party faithful during his visit to the nation’s commercial capital.
Sanwo-Olu will challenge incumbent Governor Akinwunmi Ambode at the APC governorship primary elections for the party’s ticket.
He reportedly has the backing of the influential Mandate Movement – a group fiercely loyal to APC national leader Bola Tinubu.
