Efe has turned a year older and Nigerians are celebrating him.
Recall that the Warri-born singer won the 2017 version of the Big Brother Nigeria show, beating top contenders like Bisola and TBoss.
Efe won the hearts of any Nigerians with his meek heart; he was branded the ‘realest’ in the house, the poor boy who dared to dream. And he did win. However, the tide turned against him after he returned home and dropped new songs. Many of those who voted for him had a problem with the quality of his songs, and they told him this.
For months, Efe ignored the criticisms, until last week when he began the promotion of his diss EP titled Am Sorry Am Winning, in which he addressed folks who criticise his songs. He also took to Twitter to inform them his fans that he owes no allegiance to anyone.
“For all those saying they regret voting for me, i entertained you and your money expired the day the show ended,” he wrote, and this earned him major flak from his followers.
Well, today he turns 25 and everyone is overlooking the diss tracks and posts, and have chosen to celebrate him instead.
