The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) won at polling unit–code 33, unit 2, Victoria Garden City (VGC), Lagos, where Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo cast his ballot.
It was a clean sweep for the opposition party as it not only won the presidential poll but the national assembly as well.
For the presidential election, the PDP polled 425 votes while the APC had 229. In the senatorial election, the PDP had 414 votes while the APC had 261.
For the House of Representatives election, the PDP had 268 while the APC had 190 votes.
Osinbajo and Fela Durotoye, presidential candidate of the Alliance for New Nigeria (ANN), voted at the same polling unit.
Meanwhile, voting in most parts of Lagos, particularly in the mainland had to be abandoned as thugs attacked the electorates and set electoral materials ablaze.
It is a similar situation in Rivers State where the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has postponed election in some LGAs owing to violence.
