The Nigeria senior national team remained unmoved on the 47th position on the latest Fifa ranking released Thursday.
There was precious little change on the Fifa monthly ranking due to the overall inactivity of national teams for the past month with only seven matches played across the federations.
Three-time African champions Nigeria also retain their sixth position on the continent, behind Tunisia, Congo DR, Senegal, Morocco and Egypt.
Nigeria’s World Cup Group D foes also remain unmoved – with Argentina, Croatia and Iceland retaining the 5th, 18th and 22nd positions respectively.
Reigning World champions Germany continue to rule the rankings on no1, Brazil, Belgium and European champions Portugal joining Argentina on the top five.
The next ranking will be released June 21.
