Nicki Minaj Slut-Shames a Woman Who Criticised Her Music

Nicki Minaj does not welcome criticism.

Yesterday, the rapper went berserk on a Twitter fan who criticised her industry; she called the woman a “ho” and said the critic was jealous of her wealth.

Drama started when the woman who uses the handle @Wannasworld took to her page to speak about her thoughts on Nicki’s recent music. “You know how dope it would be if Nicki put out mature content? No silly shit,” said Wanna, “Just reflecting on past relationships, being a boss, hardships, etc. She’s touching 40 soon, a new direction is needed.”

Well, Nicki Minaj expects to be worshipped at all times, because she quickly lashes out at even fans who call her out for the slightest thing.

Two weeks ago, she dragged a critic who called her out for slut-shaming women in her ELLE interview (she even went as far as encouraging her fans to physically attack the critic).

Now, she slipped into Wanna’s DM to insult her, accuse her of being jealous, and also called her a ‘ho’.

“Nicki Minaj exhibited #Queen behaviour when she hopped in my DMs and insulted me numerous times over an innocent music opinion while her fans continue to harass me and DM death threats. This is NOT okay,” said Wanna.

See her tweet, plus Nicki’s message to her.

  1. Talk about bias reporting. Where was the slut-shaming???? Calling someone a “Ho” is like hey girl and you know it. That reach must have hurt. This intern was fired before the DM, but I guess you only wanted to tell a certain side of the story. I want to know why this intern was cleaning her twitter and deleting tweets. This one tweet alone, beside the age BS, no doesn’t seem to be a problem. But, I would love to read the deleted tweets. This girl needed to a come up and used Nicki. Celebs always go off on writers. Drake just clapped back at “fan”. No one is reporting that as if it’s a scandal.

  2. This is the worst article I’ve ever read, the writer obviously hates Nicki Minaj and isn’t trying to see the situation from both sides, when in truth that was bad criticism. Nicki does put out deep and more serious music it’s not her fault the radio doesn’t play it, they just play her pop songs, nickis fans know that. Be better at your job please it’s not that hard.

  3. As long as you’re calling out Nicki Minaj for slut shaming, why don’t you also call out the girl for her blatant ageism towards Nicki? Or is ageism acceptable to you? Sounds like you guys have double standards, then. Typical butthurt little girl playing the aggressor and then acting like a victim when her actions come back to bite her. Just like Cardi.
