Nicki Minaj Eviscerates Ex Boyfriend Safaree Samuels in New Radio Interview

Nicki Minaj rarely speaks about her split up with Safaree Samuel, but she did so today in new interview with DJ Flex of Hot 97.

The rapper spoke, among other things, about her pen game, why she demands credit for her writing and why she has problems with nonconstructive criticism.

Asked to address the long-running claim that her ex boyfriend, Safaree Samuels, wrote her raps when they were together, Nicki put a call across to an old friend and former mate, Louis, who confirmed on radio that Safaree was nothing but a hypeman during his time with them.

Nicki also exposed Safaree for stealing the raps of a Trinidadian boy, adding that they broke up because Safaree was cheating with prostitutes, that he also stole credit cards. So, to get back at her, he put out the idea that he was the one writing her songs.

“Everyone in the industry knows that I wrote my own lyrics, knows that I put so much weight on women writing. But for one person to do this to me out of sheer weakness and passive aggression, just hatefulness and vindictiveness, because you got caught cheating on the person that was taking care of you for years and years?” she said.

And she exposed a lot more.
