Nicki Minaj Comes to Drake’s Defence Amid the Heated Pusha T Feud

Nicki Minaj has taken to Twitter to diss everyone who have accused Drake of using a ghost writer.

Recall that recent drama started when Kanye’s artist Pusha T fired shots at Drake on “Infrared” which regurgitated old claims by Meek Mill that Drake doesn’t write his raps.

Drake replied hours after with “Duppy Freestyle,” a diss track in response to some lyrics in Pusha T’s “Infrared.”

One of the lines that stood out in the diss was the mention of Kanye West, and the assertion that Pusha’s album wouldn’t sell: “Tell ’Ye we got an invoice comin’ to you/ Considering we just sold another 20 for you,” Drake rapped.

Pusha replied him shortly after on Twitter, asking him to send the invoice for the extra twenty, and Drake got real petty because he took to Instagram to send a snapshot of an $100,000 invoice for “promotional assistance and career reviving”, to the attention of Steven Victor, Def Jam’s executive VP/head of A&R.

“You are welcome,” Drake said in the caption. LOL

Now, Nicki Minaj has chimed in.

Recall that she was silent during the Drake/Meek Mill feud and this was because she was dating Meek at the time. Now, she has spoken up for Drake, letting haters know that not only does Drake write his own raps, he also writes for others.

“Niggaz gon run that Quentin shit in the fkn ground like Drake don’t write 4 himself & OTHERS! Ya enemies will remix, reinvent & TRY 2make u RELIVE some old shit for YEARS 2 come when they have NOTHING ON U! Knock it off. Challenging the chosen ones only awakens the sleeping giant,” she said.

Will Pusha T respond?

We wait!
