Tamaryn Green has always dreamed of becoming a doctor, but because of the responsibilities that comes with being the current Miss South Africa, she is putting her studies on hold.
The beauty queen made this known in new chat with TimesLive, she she revealed she would be returning to her dream profession in the future.
“I’ve put my studies on hold but qualifying as a doctor still remains one of my big goals. Medicine has taught me so much about the world and my passion for health still remains. I will continue my studies in the near future,” she said.
Recall that she was declared the winner of the pageant in May.
Tamaryn, who will represent the country at the Miss Universe pageant later this year, walked away with a prize package worth R3-million which includes a R1-million cash prize, a Sandton apartment for the year of her reign and a Nissan Qashqai.
