Mila Jovovich has shared the first image from the set of the much-anticipated movie, Monster Hunter.
According to Screen Rant, Capcom launched the first installment of the Monster Hunter video game franchise in 2004, and it has since grown immensely, because earlier this year, the latest installment of Monster Hunter World became the studio’s best-selling game ever.
And it wasn’t long before a live-action movie adaptation of it was announced, and it is now in the works.
Jovovich rose to the spotlight following the success of her 1997 film, The Fifth Element, and just five years later would find herself leading an action franchise of her own. She went forward to play the lead role of Alice in six Resident Evil movies, with the franchise concluding in 2016.
Now, she’s set to star in another video game adaptation with Monster Hunter, and she’s sharing her excitement as the project takes a major step forward.
Check out the photo she shared on her Instagram about the success of the first day of filming.
