Prince Louis has been baptised.
Yesterday, Kensington Palace released the official portraits from the christening of Prince William and Kate Middelton’s son held on July 9 in front of immediate family and close friends.
From the pictures captured by Matt Holyoak, the royals gathered around in the Morning Room at Clarence House following Prince Louis’ baptism in the Chapel Royal at St. James’s Palace. And they include Prince George, Princess Charlotte, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall and Kate’s family including Carole and Michael Middleton, James Middleton, Pippa Middleton and her husband James Matthews.
The heartwarming event comes 11 weeks after Prince Louis was born. For the christening, Kensington Palace revealed that six people who have been selected to be Prince Louis’ godparents. They are Prince Williams’ close friends Nicholas van Cutsem, Guy Pelly and Harry Aubrey-Fletcher who served godfathers, while Lady Laura Meade, Mrs. Robert Carter and Kate’s cousin Lucy Middletonwill served as godmothers.
