Man Suspected of Killing Angela Simmons’ Ex Turns Himself In

The man suspected of killing Angela Simmons ex-fiance Sutton Tennyson has turned himself into the Atlanta Police Department.

According to TMZ, Michael Williams handed himself over Wednesday at around 4:30 p.m. and authorities have charged him with murder for the Nov. 3 drive-by shooting, which left 37-year-old Tennyson dead outside his home in Atlanta.

Recall that the Atlanta Police Department responded to a call of shots at a home in southwest Atlanta just before 5 p.m. on Saturday and found Tennyson, 37, lying dead with multiple gunshot wounds inside an open garage.

The deceased and Angela Simmons — who is the daughter of Rev. Run from Run DMC— share a 2-year-old son who is named after him.

Now, police report that Tennyson was shot and killed in his driveway following an argument with another man, who was allegedly Williams. And so they have charged him with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and possession of a firearm during commission of a felony, in addition to murder.

His lawyer, Jackie Patterson, told TMZ that his client denies any involvement in the slaying.

We can’t wait to see how this pans out.
