Drake’s latest album, Scorpion, is still breaking all known record, but that hasn’t stopped the Toronto rapper from serving his hungry fanbase hot freestyles.
He has been winning since Scorpion dropped; he became the first artist to reach one billion streams in one week, his album Scorpion is now dominating the Billboard Hot 100, and he has seven songs charting in the Top 10 simultaneously- a feat that has now broken the Beatles’ 1964 record of charting five songs in the Top 10 at once.
And so many other records. Click here to read the report.
Many people would expect him to revel in these successes, but not the “most consistent” rapper on the YMCMB roaster who has no dropped a new freestyle, Fire In The Booth, during Charlie Sloth’s BBC Radio 1Xtra segment.
Drake seemingly referenced his beef with Pusha-T and Kanye West in the freestyle, rapping:
The only skeletons here are the ones from the nights that I raised hell
Make sure the staff are paid well
Make them think twice about the stories that they tell
No one knows when the plan is hatchin’
I’ma make them walk on eggshells
Tiptoe, niggas better know
