All hail King Kylie!
The mum of one has appeared on the cover of Forbes’ August issue, themed “America’s Women Billionaires, which ranked the most successful women entrepreneurs in America.
The magazine noted that the 20-year-old reality TV star has built an unstoppable makeup empire, Kylie Cosmetics, is one of seven newcomers on the list, same list which also includes her sister Kim Kardashian.
Jenner raked in $900 million dollars since launching the brand less than three years ago, the magazine notes, which makes her the youngest person on the fourth annual ranking of America’s Richest Self-Made Women. And next year, she is expected to become the youngest self-made billionaire ever, beating Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and Snapchat king Evan Spiegel.
“Social media is an amazing platform,” said Kylie to the outlet about her brand strategy. “I have such easy access to my fans and my customers.”
Recall that she trademarked her brand in 2014 which she said cost her $250,000 of her own money made from modeling contracts and endorsement. Next, she produced her first batch of lip kits whose original 15,000 unit order sold out in less than a minute.
Kylie Jenner went on to welcome her first child named Stormi Webster in February with rapper Travis Scott. And now, she is set to become the youngest billionaire.
We can’t wait!
