Shannade Clermont, one of the models for Kanye West’s Yeezy Season 6, was arrested yesterday on a slew of charges, which include stealing the debit card of a man who had overdosed and using his identity to ring up thousands of dollars in purchases.
According to The Blast, this was confirmed by an attorney who confirmed that Shannade has been charged with wire fraud, access device fraud and aggravated identity theft.
The Clermont sister reportedly, in 2017, stole the debit card information “of a man she had visited for a prostitution date and who was found dead in his apartment the next morning from a drug overdose.”
The unnamed man died due to an overdose of cocaine and fentanyl. Investigators collected his iPhone, and his text messages were recovered directly linking him to Shannade Clermont.

Also, a doorman told investigators that Shannade said her name was “Audrey,” and she was seen with the victim hours before he was discovered dead.
Presently, the model has not been linked to the death of the man, however she allegedly stole his card and had racked up over $20,000 in charges before she was arrested. Officials say that she used the money to pay her rent and phone bills, bought plane tickets and several online purchases “of thousands of dollars of clothing and other merchandise.”
The text messages revealed that she had agreed to have a date with the man for $400.
Speaking about the case, the U.S. Attorney Geoffrey Berman said, “As alleged, Shannade Clermont, a former cast member of the “Bad Girls Club,” lived up to her reality series reputation. Clermont’s new reality is federal prosecution for her alleged nefarious conduct.”
Neither Kanye West nor Kim Kardashian, who is friends with the Clermont Twin, had reacted as at press time.
