Kanye West Reveals He’s Had Suicidal Thoughts, Says He Connected to Alexander McQueen

Kanye West has opened up yet again about his battles with suicidal thoughts.

Recall that the rapper first spoke up about it during his June interview with the New York Times, where he opened up about his bipolar diagnosis, his controversial slavery comments, and thoughts about killing himself.

The father of three spoke up about this yesterday after watching the new documentary centred on the life of Alexander McQueen, the visionary fashion designer who died by suicide at the age of 40 in 2010.

“I know how it feels to want to take your life back into your own hands even if it means taking your own life,” Ye wrote in one tweet. Adding, “I’ve had these kinds of thoughts and I’m going to tell you things I’ve done to stay in a content place.”

He continued in the next tweet by giving people struggling with mental health issues a ‘tip’ on how to survive. “Avoid being around people who make you want to kill yourself,” Ye wrote.
