Four members of staff of the Osun State College of Technology, Esa-Oke, who were kidnapped on Tuesday have been freed.
The freed captives were among eight people initially kidnapped by suspected herdsmen on December 4.
While three others were freed almost immediately, one other person died from injuries sustained during the incident.
The released victims had claimed that the attackers were armed herdsmen who were demanding for an unspecified ransom.
The gunmen had reportedly blocked the Esa-Oke Road leading to the campus at about 4:00 pm on Tuesday and stopped several vehicles before abducting some of the occupants.
