‘It’s an Insult to Say I’m Worth $150m. It’s Too Small’ — David Oyedepo Speaks (WATCH)

Bishop Davido Oyedepo has addressed reports making rounds that he is worth $150 million.

The General Overseer of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, aka Winners’ Chapel, made this clarification during a recent church service, nothing that he is worth more than reported amount. And he considers this an insult.

“They said I’m worth $150m. I said $150m? That’s an insult,” he said, and when his congregants gasped, he added, “I’m worth Philippians 4:19. My God will supply my riches according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”

And the church erupted in cheers and relief.

This comes a month after Forbes published their list of the richest pastors in the world, a list that is dominated by Nigerian preachers, with Oyedepo leading the pack.

The preacher lately has been criticised by folks like Daddy Freeze who has continually accused preachers of insisting on the principle of tithing, and using that avenue to rip off their church members.

Well, Oyedepo remains undaunted, and insists he is richer because ‘Christ’ ordained so. Watch the clip:
