Netflix Reportedly Buys Multi-Part Kanye West Documentary for $30 Million
It looks like Kanye West is coming to Netflix soon if news making the rounds is to be believed.
Billboard is reporting that Netflix just bought a multi-part documentary on the life of the rapper and fashion mogul for a whooping $30 million.
It’s no news that West consistently documents practically every aspect of his life since his entry into the entertainment industry with the intent of bringing his fans the ultimate documentary.
With twenty years worth of footage, fans are set to have a lot to look forward to.
Netflix recently agreed to pay $30 million for the rights to stream an official Kanye West documentary that is said to be 20 years in the making which will show all the behind the scenes moment of the father of four’s life.
The multi-part project comes from Clarence “Coodie” Simmons and Chike Ozah, better known as professional duo Coodie and Chike—who are familiar to Kanye fans for directing his groundbreaking videos, “Through The Wire” and “Jesus Walks.”
Sources close to this news have stated that Kanye West is not creatively involved in the documentary but has essentially given his blessing.
