RMD wants nothing to do with the trendy ‘Demons’ title, even though he starred in the movie, Yoruba Demons, which glorified certain class of men for their penchant for cheating on their partners.
Drama started today when an over enthusiastic fan, impressed by the actor’s latest photo, decided to brand him the “Gang leader” of the “Demons”, a moniker that was supposed to be a sort of praise.
But 56-year-old RMD wants nothing to do with that.
“I have nothing with demons,” the actor fired back, adding, “So if you’re looking for your leader, he’s not here. So keep it moving.”
His terse response did embarrass the fan who quickly reminded the actor of his role in the movie. “Your latest movie ‘Yoruba Demons’ was what I was referring to. No insult meant,” he said. And another upset fan called out the legend for being too rigid. “U nor get sense of humour ni?” the fan asked, adding, “Wetin dey worry u old man.”
(Note: we do not endorse the insult.)
However, this quickly triggered major conversation on social media, especially among loyal fans of the actor who wonder why he had no qualms featuring in a movie of such title but rejecting the moniker in real life.
Do you think RMD was being too stiff?
