Senate President Bukola Saraki made a triumphant return to Ilorin, the Kwara State capital after his victory at the Supreme Court last week.
The apex court last week ruled that Saraki had no case to answer at the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) after two years of trial on charges of false assets declaration.
In a dazzling show of solidarity, the convoy of the senate president moved slowly through the crowds as he reached out from the roof of one of the vehicles, TheCable writes.
He also walked in the midst of his supporters, who carried placards showing their unflinching support for the nation’s number three citizen.
