Genevieve Nnaji’s Movie, Lionheart, nominated for Grolsch People’s Choice Award

Genevieve Nnaji’s movie, “Lionheart” has been nominated for The Toronto International Film Festival Grolsch People’s Choice Award.

The nomination comes days after Netflix bought worldwide rights to the movie.

The award is given by the Toronto International Film Festival to the film rated as the year’s most popular film with festival audiences.

Following the nomination, an elated Nnaji took to her Instagram handle to share the news and begged her followers to vote for her.

Lionheart marks the first Netflix original film from Nigeria,and is the directorial debut of the renowned actress.
