Ex-President Jonathan, Wife Vote at Otueke

Former President Goodluck Jonathan and his wife, Patience, have voted at Otuoke ward 13, in Ogbia Local government area of Bayelsa state.

Jonathan and family, in company of his mother, Mrs Ayi Jonathan arrived unit 39, Otazi playground at about 9:30 am and were accredited and later voted.

After voting, the former President expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the election.

He noted that if any election is marred with violence, wrong leaders will be elected, hinting such situation will never bring  tangible development in that country.

He said: “For us as Nigerians, if we want to grow we must endeavour to elect the right people to lead us, so Nigeria needs decent and credible elections.

“As a Peoples Democratic Party member, I want my party to win all the seats.

“We must give room for credible election, that is the only way a true leader can be selected to rule the people,” his said.

He urged any candidate that lose election to concede defeat, just like what always happened in other advanced countries in the world.
