Drake’s “Scorpion” Breaks One-Week Streaming Record in Just Three Days

Just three days after Drake dropped his much-anticipated album, Scorpion, the rapper has broken the record for the most U.S. streams in a single week.

According to Complex, the album raked in 435 million on-demand streams since its release on Friday, and this record does not include the streaming report for Monday, July 2.

As expected, Scorpion will debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, and projections are that the album will have the best opening week for an album in 2018.

Plus, this will be Drake’s eighth No. 1 release in a row; all of his other works all debuted at the No. 1 spot.
