Drake Performs Tracks Off ‘Scorpion’ Album For First Time at Wireless Festival: Videos

Drake made a surprise appearance at the Wireless Festival in London on Sunday after DJ Khaled cancelled due to “travel issues.”

Complex reports that the Toronto rapper was initially rumored to make a surprise appearance during a set from his collaborator Giggs, but he ended up extending his visit into a full headlining set.

The rumours had gathered momentu through at the day, and when Drake OVO’s owl logo popped up on the screens at the main stage of the festival, fans went absolutely apeshit.

“If you know anything about me, you know I live and die for London, England,” said Drake to the crowd of 50,000 when he appeared, adding, “I was in the middle of my vacation. I left vacation to be with each and every one of you at Wireless Fest.”

And then he went on to perform tracks of his latest album, Scorpion.
