Dorcas Shola Fapson has revealed that the Taxify driver, Henry Nnaemeka, who she accused of attempted kidnap and rape has been arrested.
The actress made this announcement on her Instagram page, in a post where she also pleaded with taxi companies to install dash cams in their cars, so as to curb incidences like it was in her case.
“We need a country where women are able to report & share their experiences of sexual harassment, assault, rape, molestation, violence etc without fear of being labeled a liar, thief, prostitute, attention seeker,” she said in the post, adding that the incident should never have been a war of class, rather one of truth.
She continued in the caption, saying, “I remain a Fighter. Not a crier. I’d like to thank everyone that’s supported me, publicly and privately during this difficult time. We can leave the social media war now & let the law take its rightful course.”
This interesting development comes almost a month after Henry Nnaemeka took legal actions against Fapson following her claims that he was a rapist.
In the letter sent to the actress by Nnaemeka’s lawyer in January, he recounted what transpired between the driver and the actress, and then proceeded to demand that she apologises to the driver and pay him the sum of N5 million in damages within five days, failure of which they would take her to court.
Apparently, Fapson did not budge to that demand, instead, has take a new legal route.
We can’t wait to see how it all pans out.
