Demi Lovato will reportedly be moved to a rehab after she gets discharged from the hospital, E! News is reporting.
According to the media house, this was confirmed by sources who also said that the singer is doing “much better” at the hospital where she is getting treatment.
“Demi’s turned the corner and is doing much better,” said the source. “She will be released in the next few days and the plan is for her to go to rehab. She is starting to grasp the severity of what happened and that she almost died.”Adding, “She is scared and grateful to be alive. Her family hasn’t left her side and have consulted with several people to figure out what the best plan of action is. Everyone wants her to take it very seriously and she seems to be.”
Another insider noted that Lovato is agreeing to go to rehab because “she wants to make a statement to her fans, family and friends that she is strong and can recover.””Demi knows she needs help,” the insider continued. “Her family has told her that this is the time to be a good example to her fans.”
This comes one week after Lovato overdosed at her home, scaring an assistant who thought the singer had died. TMZ adds that Lovato was saved by a bodyguard who administered first aid and kept her breathing until paramedics arrived.
Now, the singer has chosen to change path and fans are wishing her all the best.
