Get in here guys…a 58-year-old father, Arnon Rodthong, has offered to pay any dude who agrees to marry his 26-year-old virgin £250,000 (N120m).
And that’s not all, as the millionaire farmer adds that the ‘lucky’ guy gets a stake in his multi-million-pound fruit farm.
Rodthong, who is willing to give up all his assets to help his girl, Karnsita, find Mr Right reveals there are no restrictions on who can apply – as long as they “work hard and make Karnista happy.”
But then, the family grow durian – which is the world’s smelliest fruit, likened to raw sewage.
Fair deal, no? As long as the ideal suitor has a strong stomach.
Daily Star UK reveals that university graduate Karnista, who is fluent in English and Chinese, has been helping to run the farm in southern Thailand’s Chumphon province.
Local custom dictates that a man should pay a dowry – but her frustrated father has waived the payment in desperation to find his daughter a suitable match.
“I don’t want a person with a bachelor’s, or master’s or philosopher’s degree,” he said.
“I want someone to take care of my business and make it last.
“I want a diligent man. I just want someone with a hard-working attitude. That’s all.
”As soon as I have an in-law, I will give up all my assets to him.”
Businessman Arnon processes around 50 tonnes of durian – a valuable fruit which is in high demand from China – every day.
But Karnista, who has older brothers, is still single after her father’s public appeal to find her a partner.
And she told how she has her own plans for his cash – to fund cosmetic surgery in Korea.
“I first found out about my father’s post when my friends showed me,” she said.
“I was surprised but I can see the funny side to it, too.
”It is true that I am still single.
“If I have to get married to someone, I only want him to be a diligent and good person who loves his family.”
So, where are all the diligent and hardworking guys…?
