Cardi B refuses to apologise for who she is and is not ready to change for anybody.
The Bodak Yellow rapper made this clear last night after her rival Azealia Banks’ The Breakfast Club interview surfaced, in which she justified calling Cardi an ‘illiterate, untalented’ rapper.
“Two years ago, the conversation surrounding black women’s culture was really reaching an all-time high and we were really like discussing our power amongst ourselves,” said Banks in the interview, adding, “Beyoncé came out with Lemonade. There was just this really, intelligent conversation going on nationally and then everything just kind of changed and then it was like Cardi B […] I’m just talking about this caricature of a black woman that black women themselves would never be able to get away with.”
Well Cardi thinks male rappers get away with being anyhow they want to be, ad so she doesn’t understand why she has to be unfairly criticised.
“Why is it that male rappers can speak how they want act how they want but people constantly bash me for it,” she tweeted. “Why do i feel like i have to apologize for being who i am ?talking how i talk and being what ya call “Ghetto “ wtff .LEAVE ME ALONE !”
Take a look at her tweet below.

The pregnant rapper also took direct shots at Azealia Banks, citing a previous interview in which Banks praised her industry. “They wanna see you do good until you’re doing good,” said Cardi, hinting that Banks is jealous of her success.

She also reminded the world of the nasty thigs Azealia Banks said of Beyonce when Lemonade album dropped, adding that she will not apologise for who she is.
