Cardi B Deactivates Instagram Account Amid Grammy Award Drama

Cardi B has left Instagram for y’all.

Yesterday fans were quick to notice that the rapper has deactivated her Instagram account on Monday, less than 24 hours after she won the best rap album of the year at the Grammys.

The drama started after she won and many people took to their Twitter to criticise the administrators and accuse them of running a popularity contest, because, according to these critics, Cardi’s “Invasion of Privacy” did not deserve such high praise.

Cardi, hurt by these words, took to her Instagram Story to roast her critics. But then she returned to say that they might as well have her page. “I used to want this shit foreva ya can have it back,” she wrote, before deactivating the page.

Her Twitter account remains active though.
